Proposal:
I'm planning to do a free Video Editor for Linux, because I believe
this is an application that linux is lacking right now. I know that
there is cinelerra and kino, however I'm trying to create a tool that
is more like iMovie or MovieMaker.
That means it should provide the most important features for movie
creation, like several audio/video tracks, soft-fades, a title-tool
and support for common file-formats.
It will be easy and fun to use, and if I have some time left, it will
be available on the windows platform too :)
I do have some experience in the field of multimedia applications, I'm
the author of the "Gungirl Sequencer", a simple Audio Sequencer.
