Synopsis:

A rich administration application

To create a rich administration client application. Connect to Mambo

using XML-RPC or SOAP.

Project Details:

I plan to create a desktop administration client using Python. I will

be using XML-RPC to handle the message passing. The XML-RPC server

would be created in PHP and the XML-RPC client will be written in

Python. GTK+ would be used to create the graphical user interface. The

Mambo CMS can be administered easily using the desktop client and it

would be faster than the web administration which Mambo currently has.

The client developed will be platform independent as it would be

written entirely using Python, GTK+, XML-RPC and will

run on Linux, Windows and MacOSX.
