We are moving to a new wiki engine

We're in the process of moving all the current content HERE (working on it right now). If you want to change something, please do it there. We'll get a smart domainname too so that the URL will be more intuitive.

The Facts

1. Google did Summer of Code.
2. There were roughly 8700 applications from thousands of applicants.
3. Only 410 got approved to the Grand Finale.

The conclusion

• Thousands of applications had to be rejected.
• Life sucks.

Mission Statement

1. To post some interesting projects that weren't accepted.
2. To provide a support group for those who were rejected.
3. To help developers find other sources of income to help more projects on the way.
4. Help people find similar ideas to theirs, and maybe work on it collaboratively.

• LispNYC has secured extra funding from Franz! They're also moving forward with great unfunded projects too. Of course, if you're interested, it would probably help if you're into Lisp. Check out the Summer of Lisp page for more info.
• There are several bounties for GNOME being offered by Novell.
